Juniper NetScreen Global Manager 2.6 User's Guide
NetScreen-Global Manager version 2.6.0 runs on the following operating systems:
• Microsoft
Server 4.0 with
Service Pack 6
• Windows 2000 Professional, Server, and Advanced Server editions.
NetScreen-Global Manager 2.6.0 supports the following:
• NetScreen-1000
– Set policies for the entire system or each VSYS individually
– Monitor at the root level and VSYS level
• Policy-based NAT support
• L2TP configuration
• Increased management system scalability
Chapter 1, “Introduction,” describes the basic functions of NetScreen-Global
Manager.
Chapter 2, “Overview,” describes the features of NetScreen-Global Manager and
provides an overview of how it fits into your network topology.
Chapter 3, “Installation,” provides system requirement information and
installation instructions.
Chapter 4, “Navigating the Interface,” describes the Windows interface to
NetScreen-Global Manager.
Chapter 5, “Setting Up Network Communication,” describes how to configure
NetScreen-Global Manager with NetScreen devices on the network for
communication and remote configuration.
Chapter 6, “Using NetScreen-Global Manager,” provides task-oriented
descriptions of how to use NetScreen-Global Manager to configure, monitor, and
generate reports for the NetScreen devices on your network.
Chapter 7, “Generating and Interpreting Reports,” describes how to use the
reporting feature to help you analyze the network traffic protected by the
NetScreen device.
