The folks who have the original 2-day JNCIE-M certification, which was
retired in December 2002 due to the two new seperate 1-day labs, are
grandfathered with JNCIP-M status with the same number as their JNCIE-M.
ie: passing the original 2-day JNCIE-M lab and being designated #32 means
you are now:
JNCIE-M #32
JNCIP-M #32
The new JNCIP-M was in a very long beta. The last I heard from folks who
took it (late November) they were still awaiting to see if they passed. I
assume those results are out now, or will be very soon.
