　　The NASI course teaches the student how to build secure IP connections using IPSec encryption and authentication on a NetScreen firewall/VPN concentrator. This course focuses on different network design issues and the technologies to support and solve these designs. Through lecture and lab work the student will learn both the theory and the practical implementation of these technologies utilizing NetScreen products.

　　The NMTP course gives students a more thorough understanding of how NetScreen firewalls can be better utilized in building highly available fault-tolerant networks. From the start, the students will take part in configuring NetScreens with High Availability in a fully functional classroom environment. Once the network is built, the students will be guided through hands-on labs on how to securely automate the management of NetScreen firewalls using SNMP, Syslog and the Expect scripting language. Information gathered from the management of the NetScreens will be analyzed so that it may be used in the troubleshooting process along with the NetScreen snoop and debug commands which will be explained in detail. To top off the class, there will be a comprehensive series of labs the students will take in which problems are injected into students network for them to fix.
